The blog for Pros and HOs

Ok everyone.  This page is is going to be my blog where I will be discussing a wide range of topics from tips for HOs (Home Owners) and Pros (The folks you REALLY want to hire for your jobs.

We are going to talk about products, service, choosing and dealing with contractors etc. (Hey wait!  I thought this page was going to be fun?)

And...

Fishing, and hunting adventures, grilling and cooking outdoors and sometimes indoors. (Like most plumbers, cooking and especially grilling have become a big hobby and passion for me)  I will share some of my favorite grill recipes tips and tricks and even a disaster or two to make you a better outdoor chef. (Or at least get you braggin' rights at the next cook out.)

On the bottom of the page, I'll have links to some of the great things I discuss here and you are welcomed to e-mail me your questions that just might be the next blog topic! Check out the links and PLEASE click "Like" to let people on Facebook know about my blog!

AWESOME Customer Service.

I thought I would share a little bit about great customer service I received last week:

I reload for target practice as a one of my hobbies and to make another hobby a bit more affordable.  (This is the process of taking a fired empty cartridge case and “Reloading” it with new primer, powder and a bullet to be able to use it again.)  I have been doing this on and off for over 20 years.  I have a Lee Progressive 100 reloading press that I bought when I first started out.   Recently during on of my reloading sessions it broke.  A part failed that rendered the press unusable until a replacement could be found.

I contacted Lee Precision (www.leeprecision.com) and told them what happened, with a couple pictures (Again of my 20+ year old press) and asked if parts were still available, or if the new part I found on their site would work, and what bolts do I need if it does.  This is response I got back first thing Monday morning:

“Matthew:

Thanks for sending in the photos. We'll get a replacement sent out to you in tomorrow's mail. I am sending the Bolts needed to attach the new steel Connecting Link as well.

Thank You,

Laine

Now THAT friends is customer support that goes way beyond what should ever be expected.  They replaced the part on a press that was over 20 years out of warranty at no charge.  I had the parts before the following weekend and they worked great.  Don’t you wish every manufacturer treated you like that?

THANK YOU Lee Precision for a great product and more importantly customer service well beyond what your warranty states.  I am a very grateful and HAPPY lifetime customer.
